The Penguin Club

There is a strong social side to the Penguin Club and we meet regularly to catch up on news and discuss theatre and life in general. We particularly welcome new members along to all our social events as these are a great way to get to know us outside of the theatre and find out more about what we do. We have a regular monthly meet-up outside of theatres, and we organise ad-hoc events throughout the year. Some of these have included punting, walking, cycling, bowling and we’re always open to suggestions for activities.

A much-anticipated annual event is our Christmas Dinner, which – due to the number of shows that take place in December – is held in early Spring!

First Wednesday drinks is our monthly social gathering in a Cambridge pub; as you might guess from its title it happens on the first Wednesday of each month. We’re easy to find in the pub as we’re the only table with a flock of toy Penguins! The book club meets on the second Tuesday of each month.

Ad-hoc socials are often based on suggestions from members. The most popular of these is “Theatre Thursday” where we arrange to go and watch a show from the auditorium.
